A lot of superlatives for this place. Kindest host, best coffee, coolest guard dog. We arrived on a bus from Nihn Bihn at 4 am. There were not any empty rooms since we arrived so early, but Tam set us up on a Tatami in an alcove so we could get some sleep. We had a great breakfast and checked into our room around 8:30 AM that morning. Tam was very attentive and helpful during our trip. He helped us book a cave tour, rented a motorcycle and made sure we had a bus ticket to our next destination. We were very comfortable staying here. We thoroughly enjoyed the great breakfast, amazing coffee that he grinds in the morning as well as having some very cheap beers on the patio each evening. Less than 10 minutes to walk into town. Check out the neighbors Laugh Cafe for cheap, good food and Mia’s gym for a quick work out. Thank you for taking such good care of us, Tam!

I would totally recommend staying here. The host is super friendly, always smiling and helps you to book and organize everything. He helped me book my bus to Hue, organized motorbike rental for me and gave me recommendations for caves and the national park. They have bicycle for rent at the homestay. Rooms are big, clean and quiet. The location is good, you can just use a bicycle to cycle to the restaurants at the end of town. Free breakfast is great and the coffee probably the best I have ever had in a homestay. I really enjoyed my time here talking about Phong Nha and Vietnamese culture and relax in the garden/patio. The only downside the hot water in the shower is only hot for 2 mins.

The location is wonderful. View from room xlnt- clean fresh- great a/c wifi. Tam & his family are so lovely, you feel as though you are in a neighborhood, not a tourist trap. Tam is your restaurant- guide- booking expert & he makes great banana pancakes! He also booked my favorite Vietnam excursion- Phong Nha Kayaking- amazing- loaned me his bike & took me to my bus stop. It's a 1 star hotel- but 5 star homestay!

Stayed here for 2 nights on my own & it was exactly what I needed as a hostel break!!! Amazingly welcoming atmosphere, Tam is incredibly helpful with any questions & helped me plan my day. You can rent a motorbike or bicycle which I did! Breakfast included which was delicious. Comfortable bed with a snug blanket & felt very homely 🫶🏼 thank you so much 😃

This man is a legend! Our room had a small issue with it (fixed now), he took one look and changed the rooms straightaway and upgraded us as well! The rooms were both fantastic and had everything we needed. Location was nice and quiet with a few good food spots nearby. Highlights were just how genuinely nice he is and the amazing breakfast. We’ve had banana pancakes in various other spots which are usually the basic microwaves ones which are okay but these are freshly made with tea leave, coconut and banana in them. SO NICE! We had this every day we stayed. Would highly recommend this homestay to anyone :)
